Freeze plug hole

Hole where leaking freeze plug was. Note the rusty, slimy goo inside the block. 47 years and 151,000 miles will do that. I should have thought to snap a picture before I scraped the 1/2“ of goo that was blocking the bottom part of the opening. Yuck.
