I should comment on his "other" blog article, since we had a similar experience with the ICOC folks in Nassau.
Laura and I spent a week on Paradise Island for our 10th anniversary (we had our 15th this past April). We didn't stay at the place he referred to with the Casinos, instead using someone's timeshare at another smaller (ok, cheaper) place nearby.
We called someone about church on Sunday (which happened to be Easter), and they insisted on coming to pick us up for their sunrise Easter service on the beach. We ate souse (sp?), which is a kindof bone-in chicken soup and we were so grateful to meet everyone there. Maybe if we had done some scuba diving or other touristy stuff, I wouldn't say this, but church that Sunday was probably a highlight of our trip.
