On the way home from dinner last night I had this (paraphrased) conversation with 9 year old Audrey:
Dad: I didn't see, did you finnish your sandwich?
Audrey: No, it was time to go.
Dad: OK
Audrey: I don't each sandwiches. Sandwiches are mean and live in sand castles so I have a samich.
Dad: Really? Well that makes sense. Is that spelled S A M M I C H?
Audrey: I think there's only one M
She thinks there's only one M in the word she made up.
I'm convinced that Audrey lives in a parallel universe that we can only see glimpses of. It sure looks like a lot of fun though.
Thats funny- Id like to live in a parallel universe too
Yeah, I'd like to at least visit that universe and see if I like it. I probably would.
i clicked here through the blog of milton stanley, transforming sermons. actually it led me to your post "did Jesus come to teach us how to live". it was a very good post but i like this post even better. i will have to start using the word samich. i consider it a very good change to the name after all.
wow...january of 2004! you have been at this for awhile!
Yeah, I guess it's been a while. I actually started in mid-February, but being the anal-retentive OCD sort of guy I am, I went back and entered my QT notes from the begining of the year.
Thanks for lettng me know that Milton linked to me. I hope you stop back again. I'll make you a sammich. :-D
