Yeah, it's one of those "sorry I've been away" posts. I'd love to say I've been too busy serving at the homeless shelter or building houses for Habitat for Humanity or even finishing my basement (OK, that's partly true) to blog. Oh if that were true.
The simple truth is lately I've sort of lost the will to blog. I dunno why, but there it is.
I am fairly active lately on Twitter or Facebook, so look me up there if you'd like. Someday I'll get a link to those places up here.
I hope to return to regular blogging at some point, and I will keep up my Quiet Time Journal here.

Sometimes I feel like blogging. Think I have a something to say on stuff I've discovered I like or convictions I have. Then I realize most of the people I vote for loose. Most of the shows I like get canceled. Most of the things I like to buy get shipped over seas or dropped. I'm a loner by nature so don't care to be around people much. And, I'm not sure I have the gumption to get things started or keep them going. That's probably why I'm not on twitter or facebook or whatever. I've heard a few bad things about it like having more friendships on there than with your wife..etc. So that effects it too but I'm sure I just wouldn't be a "good enough friend" to keep up with people like that. I don't do it well enough in the non ether world.
For me, blogging is as much about sorting out my thoughts through writing as it is about sharing my thoughts with the world. The world at large has no use for my thoughts anyway, so the more I keep that in mind, the better.
